Dr O'Pia said that she likes to play in the dark of night... or could that be 'knight'. Can you locate a dark knight?
One of the black knights wants to rampage across the board, taking pieces in its way. How does a knight move in Chess? Only one of the knights is in a position to take the opponent's pieces.
When the black knight takes pieces, there are letters on each square which might be helpful. But... where does it stop? There is a clue on the outside of the board.
Canada answer
The black knight in the square marked with a 'j' cannot take any of the white pieces. Only black knight in the square marked with an 'f' has white pieces in its way. Follow the trail and collect the letters. Around the outside of the board is written 'black knight takes king'. This tells you where to stop. The squares with pieces taken, ending with the white king, spell out NUCLEUS.
